By registering for, attending, or participating in any Positive Edge spin classes, guided runs, coaching programs, or services, whether delivered in person or online (collectively, the “Classes”), and/or by using any equipment, digital content, or facilities provided by Positive Edge (collectively, the “Facilities”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
You understand and acknowledge that participation in indoor cycling, cardiovascular conditioning, resistance training, and other physical fitness activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, overexertion, heart complications, or other serious injuries. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks, injuries, or damages—known or unknown—that may arise as a result of your participation in any Classes or use of Facilities.
Positive Edge reserves the right to deny participation to any individual if, in the professional opinion of its staff, such participation would pose a health risk. A medical clearance letter may be required at your own expense.
You understand that participating in online Classes or accessing digital workout content carries the same physical risks as in-person classes, and you agree to assume responsibility for creating a safe workout space and using proper equipment during all remote sessions.
If the participant is under 18 years of age, this waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Minors may not participate in any Positive Edge Classes without parental consent.
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
By participating in Positive Edge Classes or using any Positive Edge Facilities, you confirm that you have read this Waiver and Release of Liability, fully understand its terms, and agree to be legally bound by it.
